This is my go-to hike throughout the week. There is nothing spectacular about this loop – no stunning rivers or lakes, no steep elevation gains, no majestic vistas. And yet, the subtle beauty of this valley never ceases to amaze me. I love the peace and quiet when i’m strolling solo, and the terrain is perfect for a casual run. It’s a great place to stroll or snow shoe with girlfriends, and the perfect place to hike with kids, whether they’re by your side or on your back (need to burn more calories?).
