If you’re looking to make a statement without breaking the bank or totally re-arranging, a nice floor lamp can easily do the trick. I recently found this lamp from CB2 and put it in a client’s guest room where there was an empty corner. You need to put a powerful bulb in if you want any real light, but as an ambient piece it’s great.
